If we feel you would be better off getting it replaced we will tell you at the time of our consultation. We go over everyone's situation in a case by case basis. If this is an under-mount sink we will refinish it because it’s a separate piece from the vanity top, but when it comes to sinks, sometimes it’s just not cost effective to get them refinished. The vanity refinish comes with a 1 year warranty, which falls under “countertops”.

It is not cost effective to just refinish the sink, plus doesn’t look very attractive when the sink is the only refinished part. If this is a solid one piece vanity we do not just refinish the sink part. Vanities and sinks can be refinished to a beautiful high gloss solid color finish, a multispec finish, or an epoxy faux marble finish. We do not offer a warranty for the outside of clawfoot tubs or the feet. A satin finish will blend and hide the imperfections to give a better look. Being that clawfoots are typically in rough shape, the outside has texture all over it as well as rust. A high gloss finish will show any rough texture or small imperfection. We can use our high gloss finish on the outside, but we do not recommend it. The outside was meant to be painted to match the bathroom. Clawfoots were made with the outside a raw cast iron. It’s a normal paint that we get from Sherwin Williams. There isn’t anything special about the outside finish. The outside is primed, treated for rust, and then we use a satin finish for the outside in any color you choose. The outside can be refinished as well by request. We typically have to strip and fill before the inside is ready to be refinished. These old tubs and sinks are usually in pretty rough shape and require extra attention. We can give you a call when it is ready for pickup. Hopefully in the near future, but as for now, give us a call, set up a time, and bring it by. We currently do not offer a delivery service at this time. We can do the work on site or you can bring it to our shop for refinishing. Don’t just have anyone work on your antique tub or sink. We can also do a multispec finish for a faux stone look.įor those old clawfoots and farmhouse sinks we can bring them back to a beautiful finish. We repair and fill any missing grout, and then spray on the coating to a standard white or a special order color of your choice. Same as tubs and fiberglass showers, we can coat your existing tile surround or tile shower to a like new finish. Once we have the NO VOC tub formula worked out and tested fully, we will be offering that instead. Choose a refinisher that offers a healthier greener coating.
